Tugboat to the Gundam cup ^_^

Practical usage like holding the mobile phone : )

Apart from knowing Kumoya x Tokidoki as designer toys which often being exhibition during STGCC, I'm noob to their merchandises and I must confessed that my task is merely as driver to my wifee and daughter to the cafe where we celebrated our daughter's birthday. After some research, got to know that this pop-up cafe located at no. 8 Jalan Klapa (off North Bridge Road), started since March 2018 and will be around to end June 2018. The cafe is well design to theme (anything but adorable) and give their patrons a feel of hugging those plush unicorns. There was young girl inside the cafe who spent quite some time admiring the cuties at the souvenir counter.

We are there mainly for finger food and dessert as the cafe doesn't have meatless main course. We ordered "Nacho Cheese Fries" - Kumoya's special hand-cut fries. Enjoy with a double cheesy combination of nacho cheese and mayonnaise.

"Adios and Ciao Ciao’s Farewell Fantasy Charcoal Waffles Toast" - Hokkaido berries soft serve and special buttery charcoal waffles, lovely Ciao Ciao heart cookies, brownies, fresh berries, strawberry chocolate coated cereal crunch, fresh cream and dark chocolate sauce.

"Dolce Pretty-in-Pink Berries Sponge Cake" as birthday for Wenz! Strawberry sponge cake accompanied by wafer sticks, fresh cream, marshmallow hearts and rounded off with fluffy cotton candy. Both satisfied out sweet tooth and I must say that they sure taste nice and premium.

Anyway, we ordered a strawberry milkshake that comes with inflatable holder and when I check the bottom of it says designed by Simone Lego. The caution print sure cracked me "This is not a life saving device." Besides holding cups, I realized that it has other practical usage like holding the mobile phone : )

What a cute and slightly twisted designer toys store !!!... All this merchandise is colorful and quite appealing, in terms of collectibles they always go beyond the traditional offers and pose a different point of view, something creative... The coffee shop concept has a good dose of cuteness and I guess "yuminess" also, LOL, it looks good, the taste must be good too !!!... Oh and the inflatable is a very nice and practical idea, but I think the "this is not a life saving device" wording is more a sarcastic pun than an actual warning, HEHE... =D

I like that when u say cute and slightly twisted.. lolz.. Refreshing pop-up concept and I’m sure it will pleased toki doki fans especially for the novelty. The taste is good IMHO. The toy is more like a souvenir to remember the visit. Still not practical use to me ^_^

In recent years, there have been a lot of such theme cafes open around us. Their lease is only for 3 to 4 months. Then they end their business. This can save the rental cost and earn a bit of profit for the short period of time..

I think this is a good business concept in which it create that novelty and hype. In a way, people will not get bore and will look forward to the next fresh idea to come.
